The MT includes a 1 year parts and labor warranty. It came with a recovery CD which apparently restores it to 'factory settings' and install drivers and what not, but it didn't do anything. It seems from searching that this is a know problem with Gateways.

When I click on it, it cannot fix my problem and tells me "The peripheral does not appear to be plugged in.
